Energyfi’s Roadmap has been modified recently. Here what changed:
- EnergyBridge connecting BSC and AVAX to be released in January 2022.
- AVAX Integration targeted in Q1 2022
- NEAR Integration advanced to Q3 2022
- Implementation of Echain (Energyfi very own POS and EVM compatible blockchain) development starting from Q1 2022.

Why not build on Energy Web Chain?
Our team experienced a lot of issues while testing our dApps on Volta (the EWC testnet), bugs were frequent and almost made the completion of a fast and safe product more difficult. Development on EWC is discontinued but might resume if Energy Web team provides new solutions in order to facilitate the creation of performant DeFi dApps on their network. We will keep an eye on their progress.
What’s next?
In the meantime we have decided to focus on Avax, a fast growing and very developer-friendly blockchain. Our team is happy to share with you this highly anticipated target.
You might also have noticed the mention of Echain. Echain is on our mind since the beginning and it will be Energyfi very own POS and EVM compatible blockchain. It’s important to note that in the long run, Energyfi and Echain will be connected and complementary. Energyfi platform will continue to integrate eco-friendly networks, while Echain will grow beyond Energyfi. Also note that EFT will not be the native token of Echain. More informations to be released soon.
